On today’s episode we are joined by Coach Coby Beckner. Beckner is the head coach at Texline high school. He was named the 2021 coach of the year as his team won the Texas 1A state championship. In this episode you will learn about Coach Beckner’s journey to becoming a coach, the coaches that mentored him, the influence a coach can have on a kid’s life, taking advantage of right now, getting your star players to buy in to the team, and some great stories about coaching Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell when he was in high school.
